I grew up in Linton, North Dakota, with my parents and two sisters. After graduating from Linton High School I attended Jamestown College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with Business and Psychology concentrations, and a Middle School Endorsement.  My teaching career started at Turtle Lake-Mercer Public School. At TL-M I spent two years teaching Title I and three years teaching sixth grade. In August 2008, I started teaching third grade at Washburn Public School and continue to do so now.

I truly enjoy being a teacher and am devoted to spending time teaching students new concepts and perfecting previously taught skills. I have a passion for projects within the classroom and I love to incorporate technology into every day learning.

I currently live in Washburn with my husband, Sheldon, our three children, and our dog Macy.
